QuantyPhi Holds Fourth Annual Strategic ALM Conference

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – April 2, 2019 – Credit union professionals gathered last week to gain new insights into asset liability management (ALM) best practices, loan portfolio analytics, and rate sensitivity testing at QuantyPhi’s fourth annual Strategic ALM Conference. The two-day educational event, held at Corporate Central Credit Union, also addressed the role of the investment portfolio in supporting the entire balance sheet, how to fine-tune overall ALM models, and how to capture targeted income while remaining within risk parameters.

Kevin Chiappetta, CFA, QuantyPhi President, welcomes 2019 conference participants.

“ALM continuing education is the key to performance success,” said Kevin Chiappetta, CFA, QuantyPhi President. “The Strategic ALM Conference is designed to help credit unions stay on top of market trends, learn best practices, and develop a better understanding of the total-return ALM approach. Optimizing risk and opportunity across the entire balance sheet, not just the loan portfolio, is the only way to achieve overall optimum results. The total-return approach makes investment decision-making easier, allows for better risk control, and provides investment managers with ready, sound options in unpredictable markets.”
